Regular reporting on your campaigns and segments allows you to better evaluate your marketing efforts, helping you to keep a close watch on their performance. However, putting together daily, weekly or monthly reports can be an arduous task. With this in mind, we have launched Automated Reports, the latest enhancement to our reporting suite. You can now configure and automate reports to be delivered directly to your email inbox (or sent to any other stakeholders on your team), at a frequency of your choice. This update makes reporting more robust and transparent, giving more power to you to keep track of your audience and campaigns.
You can access Automated Reports under the Reports section and customize them as per your needs:
There are 3 default reports available out of the box as of now:
Audience Summary Report: Automated reporting of new and cumulative user growth in your account
Campaign Summary Report: Automated report of all individual campaigns with detailed statistics, including: emails sent and delivered, opens, clicks and personalization rates. Also includes unsubscribes, bounces and spam reports.
Content Summary Report: Automated report of all unique clicks on URLs of your email content.
Note: Stay tuned for the next update which will allow you to create your own custom automated reports.
Customizing the Automation criteria
The first time you access the Automated Reports section, your reports will be inactive. You can activate them by using the toggle switch below the “Status” column.
When you activate an automated report you will get an option to set the email addresses of the recipients who should receive this report.
You can then specify the date and time at which the first report should go out.
Finally, you get an option to select the frequency of the report dispatch. It can be daily, weekly or monthly.
You can edit these customization settings anytime later by using the edit option next the respective reports:
You can download the last sent report in CSV format anytime by clicking on the download option next to the respective reports. You can also review the next scheduled time when the report will be computed and dispatched again.
The next update to this enhancement will give you the power to create custom automated reports. But before that, we would love to hear your feedback on this update.
